At first glance, the process of posting events may seem a bit confusing and redundant, having both this forum and a calendar page. If you’ve ever worked with Enjin sites, ours is a similar system. Here’s a quick guide:
I. Create your event thread in this forum. This will be your full writeup, so be as detailed as you like. II. Copy the URL of your finished thread. III. Open a new calendar entry via the Create menu (why can’t I see this?) from the admin bar at the top of the page, and fill in the necessary details. IV. Your entry in the Event Description field should be short and concise. This will be used for the tooltip on mouseover. V. Paste your thread URL into the Event Link field, and click Save after verifying that all details are correct.
Voilà! Now you have an event listing that appears on the calendar and Upcoming Events widget, and links directly to your full writeup on the forums.
